Earlier in the year I did some work for an ad that revolved around drawing a comic book panel. It should be hitting the news stands this month in one of the few exhibit design magazines. It turned out so well that I was asked to to another shorter piece that would go online and it went live yesterday!
Story wise, this piece comes after the printed ad. This testimonial series is for our client Emerald City and their Comic-Con they have every year. The company I work for helps put the show on and this particular ad is about the work GES does to help them out.
It’s a lot of work but I enjoyed it all. I’ll post pics I took while working on these ads along with some more info about the idea behind the art style. Any way go check it out and tell me what you think.
I’ve been a designer for 15 years. I love creating & sharing. So, I’m hoping this site is a place to help me do both. I do freelance work as well. If you’re interested in what I can do, please take a look at my portfolio.
I started out years ago in print and have now designed in several mediums; including interactive experiences, as well as video and motion graphics.
